About The Conference

The International Herbal Medicine Conference Held By Faculty of Medicine - Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, inspired by the WHO Traditional Medicine Global Summit 2023, emphasizes a commitment to evidence-based traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine (TCIM) for achieving universal health coverage and Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

Act No. 17 of 2023 classifies natural ingredient medicines into categories, encouraging the use of herbs in daily medical practice. The event serves as a pivotal platform for advancing herbal medicine in global healthcare practices, combating unregulated herbal use, and promoting awareness of geographic disparities.

  • 1. Registration & Abstract Submission Open
    May 25 – July 10, 2026
    Participants must register and submit their research abstracts.
  • 2. Abstract Review & Selection
    May 25 – July 17, 2026
    Scientific Committee reviews abstracts for theme alignment.
  • 3. Notification of Abstract Acceptance
    July 17, 2026
    Announcement of participants qualified for Full Poster stage.
  • 4. Full Poster Submission & Registration Finalization
    July 17 – 31, 2026
    Upload high-res poster (PDF/JPG) and complete admin requirements.
  • 5. Winner Announcement
    August 12, 2026
    Official announcement of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

  1. All presenters must register and submit abstracts via https://ihmc.ump.ac.id.
  2. Research must be original and relevant to: "Advancing Global Health Through Herbal Medicine Innovation".
  3. Official language is English.
  4. At least one author must register as an active participant.

Structure your abstract as follows (Max 300 words):

  • Title: Title Case, max 25 words.
  • Authors: Full names (no degrees), presenting author underlined.
  • Body: Background, Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
  • Keywords: 3-5 keywords, alphabetical, semicolon-separated.
  • Format: .doc/.docx, Times New Roman, 12pt, single-spaced.
